วันที่ 9 ตุลาคม 2567 เวลา 17.00 น. ที่ สนามกีฬา มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ ฟุตบอลชายทีมชาติไทยลงฝึกซ้อมต่อเนื่องเพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมก่อนทำศึกคิงส์ คัพ ครั้งที่ 50 รอบรองชนะเลิศ ที่จะพบกับ ทีมชาติฟิลิปปินส์
การซ้อมครั้งนี้ มาซาทาดะ อิชิอิ หัวหน้าผู้ฝึกสอนทีมชาติไทย ได้ติวเข้มแท็คติกที่จะใช้ในเกมกับ ฟิลิปปินส์ ซึ่งใช้เวลาซ้อม 1 ชั่วโมง
ก่อนการฝึกซ้อม อภิสิทธิ์ โสรฎา แบ็คซ้ายที่เพิ่งมีชื่อติดทีมชาติไทยชุดใหญ่ครั้งแรก กล่าวว่า “ความรู้สึกที่รู้ว่าติดทีมชาติไทยก็ตื่นเต้น และดีใจครับ บรรยากาศในแคมป์ตอนนี้เริ่มปรับตัวได้แล้ว มีความคุ้นชินกับเพื่อนๆในทีมมากขึ้น”

“ฟิลิปปินส์ คู่แข่งของเรา เราได้มีการประชุมกันไปบ้างแล้ว และได้สเกาท์ไปแล้ว แต่ขอเก็บเป็นรายละเอียดและไปทำงานในสนาม ผมเคยมาเยือนภาคใต้ครั้งหนึ่ง ก็เป็นบรรยากาศที่ดี แฟนบอลที่จังหวัดนี้คลั่งไคล้ในฟุตบอล อยากให้เข้ามาเชียร์กันเยอะๆ”
